Professor Mark Kisin, Department of Mathematics, University of Chicago was the Mahler Lecturer for 2007.
Professor Kisin’s research centres on p-adic Hodge theory and its applications to the arithmetic of modular forms and modularity of Galois representations.
He spoke at the AustMS Annual Conference in September 2007 and at a number of member universities.
