MATRIX (MAThematical Research Institute) is a new initiative by the ARC Centre of Excellence for Mathematical and Statistical Frontiers (ACEMS) and The University of Melbourne, and will host advanced level, research-intensive programs in the mathematical sciences, as well as embedded AMSI sponsored workshops. MATRIX encourages interaction between mathematical scientists in industry and academia, and aims to increase the impact of mathematical and statistical research. MATRIX has now opened a call for proposals for programs in 2016.
