Professor Terry Speed, Walter and Eliza Hall Institute of Medical Research, was the 2014 AMSI/SSAI Lecturer.
Professor Speed is one of Australia’s most eminent statisticians and was awarded the 2013 Prime Minister’s Science Prize. His research interests include metabolic flux analysis, estimating 13C enrichment in time course experiments and basecalling for resequencing chips.
